Måns Nilsson serves as the Executive Director of the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI). His responsibilities include directing, organizing and delegating all work at SEI and its seven centers worldwide. He is a scholar of policy science with more than 60 published papers whose interests include policy coherence, integrated decision making, energy and industry transitions, and development policy. Nilsson has been an advisor to the UN, the OECD, the European Commission, and the Government of Sweden in recent years. He is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (KSLA). He received his MSc from University of Lund and his PhD from Delft University of Technology.
