The Center for Economics and Finance (cefUP) is part of the Faculty of
Economics at the University of Porto in Portugal. The research center was
established in 2009 and is mainly funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e
a Tecnologia. cefUP Â focuses on applied research and education in the
fields of finance and economics, and aims to promote policy debate and
economic knowledge amongst the public population.Â
