The *Munich Graduate School of Economics (MGSE)* offers a distinguished Ph.D.
program in Economics to outstanding young and motivated researchers. The MGSE
is part of the *Department of Economics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University
Munich *. The department is ranked among the top economic educational
institutions in Europe and is reputed for its theoretical and empirical
research in combination with policy relevant issues.
Doctoral students at the MGSE are provided with thorough training in advanced
methods in economics. They are taken to the frontier of state-of-the-art
research. Members are integrated into a stimulating research environment
composed of an ambitious and excellent faculty and a large network of
research institutions and facilities.
The MGSE does not charge tuition fees for attending the Ph.D. program.
