The Organization for the Promotion of International Relations (OPIR) was
established by Kyoto University in April, 2005, in order to develop the
benefits and relationships between the university, and its many partner
institutions. OPIR is the headquarters which creates the international
strategies and decisions concerning international exchange committees at a
university-wide level. OPIR also focuses on developing the infrastructure
and activities for international scholars, as well as activists and
researchers.
