United Kingdom. Founded in 1826, it was the first university to be
established in London and the first in England to be created on secular basis
to admit students regardless of their religion or gender. UCL is
organized into 10 constituent faculties with over 100 departments, institutes
and research centers. It is in the 21st position of the Academic Ranking of
World Universities and in 3rd place in the European version of the
