The Department of Economics is a research-intensive department with healthy undergraduate, master's, and PhD programmes. The role
We invite applications for permanent, full-time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions from candidates in all fields of Economics, with particular encouragement for those specialising in Macroeconomics and Macroeconometrics.
The successful applicant will participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching offered by the Department. Supervision of postgraduate research students at master's, DBA, and PhD level is also part of this role. Candidates will be expected to develop an independent and productive research programme.
Your skills and experience:
- A PhD in Economics is essential
- A proven track record of publication in high-quality journals
- Experience with external research funding applications
- A demonstrated commitment to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
Candidates who have not yet fully developed these skills and experience should provide evidence of their potential to do so if appointed to the position.
