Additionally, he has a PhD in business administration from RWTH Aachen University and studied at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. 

Stefan Wintels, CEO of KfW, expressed confidence in Dr. Steinkühler's extensive banking expertise and stakeholder experience, emphasizing the necessity for KfW to mobilize private capital effectively to strengthen Germany's economic position. Wintels stated, "I am delighted to welcome Dr. Dominik Steinkühler, an experienced strategy expert, to KfW." 

This leadership transition follows Dr. Susanne Maurenbrecher's promotion to General Manager of KfW, effective October 1, expanding her contributions to the organization.
