The Department of Economics, Management, and Quantitative Methods DEMM is seeking candidates for one Tenure Track Assistant Professor (RTT) in Economics with teaching duties in Statistics (SECS-S/01). Starting Gross Salary 44,200€.
Candidates (of any nationality) who have been residents outside Italy for the last 2 years benefit from a six-year tax exemption on 90 per cent of their salary (which can be extended up to 13 years).
Duration: up to 6 years. Tenure as an Associate Professor will be granted subject to holding the Italian National Qualification as an Associate Professor.
Teaching load: 60 hours per year before tenure
The starting date will be mutually agreed upon, not later than October 2024.
REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D. Degree in Statistics or Econometrics or Economics, or related disciplines.
Language requirements: English (knowledge of Italian is NOT required).
CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are looking for candidates with a strong research agenda in any area of Statistics who will teach at the newly established teaching “Statistics per I dati di bilancio” in the Master’s degree course Business Administration, Law and Corporate Governance. Candidates will be evaluated based on their CVs, publications, and interviews.
Candidates are expected to conduct independent research at the highest international standards and may be required to teach courses at the undergraduate, master, and Ph.D. levels. They are also expected to participate actively in departmental life and seminars.
