Conducting research for a changing society: This is what drives us at Forschungszentrum Jülich. As a member of the Helmholtz Association, we aim to tackle the grand societal challenges of our time and conduct research into the possibilities of a digitized society, a climate-friendly energy system, and a resource-efficient economy. Work together with around 7,400 employees in one of Europe’s biggest research centers and help us to shape change!

The Corporate Development division (UE) forms a central interface between the institutes, the Board of Directors and the research center’s administration. Research planning, the supervision of international collaborations, and the promotion of young scientists are essential services for research. Other tasks include resource management, strategy development, innovation management, and the management of the research center’s EU affairs. By combining innovation, knowledge, and technology transfer, entrepreneurship education and transfer marketing as well as the resulting synergy effects, we aim to create the basis for an emerging culture of innovation at Forschungszentrum Jülich and thus strengthen the impact of Jülich research in science, industry, and society. As a service unit, Innovation Management supports and assists with various issues relating to innovation and knowledge and technology transfer in all its facets.
