The Chair of Public Economics at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen is seeking to fill the position of
Research assistant (f/m/d)
with 75% of the regular weekly working hours (currently 29.85 hours/week) for a limited period of 3 years with the possibility of an extension for a further 3 years. The salary is paid according to pay group 13 TV-L. The position offers the possibility of preparing a PhD in Economics.
Your duties
• Independent research activities in public economics
• Participation in the courses of the Chair of Public Economics according to § 31 NHG
• Participation in preparing and grading examinations, including writing reports on student papers
Your profile
• A university degree (Master's/Diploma) in economics or a related subject with a grade of at least "good"
• Interest in public policy issues
• Very good knowledge of economic theory or empirical economics
• Ability to teach in German
• Relevant language skills in English
