Your Responsibilities
- Writing a dissertation in the field of Macroeconomic Measurement, Real-Estate Economics or Urban Economics
- Collaborating on research projects of the Department of Economics
- Independent teaching of courses (mainly in Macroeconomics I) and participating in examination tasks of the institute
- student support and supervision
- Participating in organizational and administrative tasks of the institute
Your Profile
- Completed diploma or master's degree in the field of Economics, Business Mathematics, Mathematics, or another quantitatively/mathematically oriented field of study
- Interest in issues related to Macroeconomics, Data Science, Machine Learning
- The research will require programming in R. Hence a good knowledge of R is advantageous
- Commitment to internationally oriented research
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
- Some knowledge of German is advantageous
- Passion for scientific work and interacting with students
- Personal initiative and ability to collaborate
