Joint NIDI-RUG workshop: Socioeconomic Differences and Health Later in Life

Workshop:

The focus is on research investigating the pathways that link socioeconomic status and later life health and how causal inference can be drawn concerning these pathways. Importantly, the workshop takes a multidisciplinary approach that aims to bring together leading international scholars from economics, demography and epidemiology.

Keynote speakers:

Tommy Bengtsson (U. Lund), Gabriella Conti (University College London), Gerard van den Berg (U. Bristol) and L.H. Lumey (Columbia U.)

Paper submission:

Papers or extended abstracts can be submitted to earlyhealth@rug.nl. The deadline for submission is
30 June 2016 and acceptances will be communicated by early July. A number of conference grants is available to partially cover expenses of selected speakers. Please indicate if you wish to be considered for a grant when submitting your paper or extended abstract.
