Prof. Reza Daniels has been appointed as the new Dean of the Faculty of Economic Management Sciences at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. His appointment comes after Prof Ingrid Woolard stepped down as Dean last year, with Daniels now set to lead the Faculty of EMS from November 1, 2025.

His appointment has been welcomed by the university's leadership, Stellenbosch University Rector and Vice Chancellor Prof. Deresh Ramjugernath, who was quoted as saying:
"I'm delighted to welcome Prof Reza Daniels to SU as the new Dean of the EMS Faculty. He joins us with a wealth of experience and an inspiring track record in higher education leadership, research and social impact."
Ramjugernath added that Daniels has the potential to make a meaningful impact on both the institution and South Africa as a whole.
Daniels expressed his excitement about joining the faculty at Stellenbosch University and his commitment to realizing the university's vision for the future, including further developing Stellenbosch as a knowledge hub in Africa, and producing economic and social impact.
