First-Degree in Economics

The undergraduate first-degree program in Economics is structured in semesters. For each course attended and successfully completed, students are awarded a number of ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).

In order to complete the undergraduate in Economics, it is mandatory to enroll in at least six academic semesters and successfully achieve between 180 and 195 ECTS credits.

Our Bachelor’s programs are taught in English. However, exclusively during their first year, students may choose one of the three possible options: 1) all classes in English; or 2) “Calculus I” and “Algebra” in Portuguese and the remaining classes in English; or 3) all classes in Portuguese. The second and third year are only taught in English.
