Student Government awards scholarships annually during the Fall semester of each academic year. The awards from these scholarships are split in half, where the first half is disbursed during the Fall semester and the second half is disbursed during the Spring semester. Applications for the 2018-2019 academic year have now closed. All applicants will be notified in writing by the end of November of whether or not they have received an SG Scholarship. Information about our 2019-2020 Scholarships will become available next summer.
If you have any questions or concerns in regards to our process and/or updates, please call (904) 620-1511 or email Lauren King at email@example.com.
Please see below for the list of scholarships offered by Student Government:
Competitive Scholarships are scholarships that are allocated and distributed by Student Government. The applications are reviewed by the SG Scholarship Committee, and the committee will select the award recipient(s) for each award.
Decentralized Scholarships are scholarships that are allocated by Student Government for other departments to distribute. The applications are available within the corresponding departments from which the scholarship is distributed, as well as at the Student Government Rotunda, Building 58E, Room 3300. The departments themselves determine the selection process and decide on the award recipient(s) for each award. Any questions about these scholarships should be directed to the corresponding department directly.
