Call for Papers on Annual Congress of the Swiss Society of Economics and Statistics with special theme of the meeting will be “Economic Populism”.
The special theme of the meeting will be “Economic Populism”. For the general part of the meeting, we welcome and encourage submissions of theoretical and empirical papers across all fields of economics and statistics.
Keynote speeches will be delivered by Sergei Guriev (Sciences Po), Gilat Levy (London School of Economics) and Maria Petrova (Universitat Pompeu Fabra).
Paper submission:
Authors are invited to submit their preliminary or complete papers electronically (PDF files only) to: www.sgvs.ch/conferences/sses2024.
Submission deadline: January 24, 2024.
The submitting authors will be notified of the Program Committee's decision by March 15, 2024. Registration opens on March 15 and early bird registration ends on April 17, 2024.
Presenters of accepted papers and other interested attendees have to be members of the SSES. Joining the SSES is possible later on as part of the registration process.
SSES Young Economist Award: Authors who wish to be considered for the 2024 SSES Young Economist Award should indicate this when submitting their paper.
Swiss Journal of Economics and Statistics: A selection of contributions related to the special topic will be published in the Swiss Journal of Economics and Statistics (www.sjes.ch).
