The Fourth Bolzano Applied Microeconomics Workshop will be held at the Bolzano Campus of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28, 2020.
The workshop aims at bringing together top scholars from the broad “Alpine” region who are doing work in any area of applied microeconomics, including but not restricted to topics in education, labour, health, development and political economy. The workshop will focus on a number of common areas to be determined by the fields covered by the submissions. It will feature longer presentations (35-45 minutes depending on the final program) and provide an opportunity for researchers in related areas to share and receive feedback on their work, particularly new or preliminary papers. Please note, that only papers with an empirical component will be considered.
The conference will include lunch and a conference dinner on Friday night for invited speakers. Travel and accommodation costs of invited speakers will be reimbursed.
An invited talk will be given by Helmut Rainer (CESifo).
DEADLINE: if you are interested in presenting, submit an unpublished paper or an extended abstract (a minimum of 5 pages) to firstname.lastname@example.org before February 7th. A decision on accepted papers will be made by FEBRUARY 16th.
