As it is online and we expect participants from different time zones, we stretch the summer school to 2 weeks with most lectures between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. central European time (= 8 – 11 a.m. Pacific time = 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. New York time)
This intensive summer school will expose advanced economics students (advanced masters or PhD-level) and young faculty to experimental economic methods as applied to the study of questions in macroeconomics and finance.
The aim of this school is to extend the reach of experimental methods to macroeconomics and finance, where they have seen comparatively less use than in other fields of economics. Students and junior faculty with interests in macroeconomics, finance and experimental methods are invited to apply to participate in the summer school. Details about the summer school and the application process are available on our website: https://www.upf.edu/web/beslab/bleess-2021
Summer school students are also invited to attend the three-day 11th annual BESLab International Workshop on Theoretical and Experimental Macroeconomics on June 21-23, 2021 that will also be held online.
Please note that some Summer School sessions will be video recorded. Applications should include a signed consent form for video recording.
