University assistant with PhD (m/f/d) in Econometrics

Your Responsibilities

• Autonomous research and publication activities in the field of (applied) econometrics
• Participation in existing research projects and development of new research projects in the field of (applied) econometrics
• Possibility to work on a habilitation project
• Participation in the application process for third-party funded projects
• Independent teaching in the field of econometrics and empirical economics
• Participation in organizational and administrative tasks at the Department of Economics

Your Profile

• Completed doctorate/PhD in the area Economics with focus in Econometrics or Statistics
• Ideally publications in internationally recognized journals as well as participation in international conferences
• Potential for excellent research
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of German is advantageous but not necessary
• Passion for scientific work and working with students
• Independent and goal-oriented working style
