Position: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics
Major: Economics and related fields (Macroeconomics, Microeconomics,Public Economics, Behavioural Economics,Economic Policy)
The Faculty of Economics at the Prague University of Economics and Business is seeking highly motivated and qualified academic professionals with a proven track record of publications and grant activities over the past 10 years. Your role
- Conduct active research in economics
- Maintain a publication record in international high-ranked journals within your field
- Regularly participate in relevant workshops and conferences
- Supervise bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses
- Teach courses within the faculty's Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes
- Actively contribute to advancement of the faculty, its academic programmes, and the continuous innovation of its course offerings
- Develop your independent research agenda and lead research teams
‍Your Profile
- Ph.D. in Economics, with relevant research experience
- Strong motivation, enthusiasm, and ambition to deliver impactful, high-quality research
- Record of publications in respected journals and a clear research pipeline with promising projects and upcoming publications
- Ability to work independently, think innovatively, and actively collaborate within a dynamic research group
- A high level of English language proficiency
