Jan Kochanowski University is looking for a university professor in the field of economics and finance to conduct research and teach undergraduate students.
Offer Description
The selected candidate employed as a university professor will be required to conduct scientific activity in the discipline of economics and finance; educate students, and participate in organizational work for the Department of Economics and Finance.
Responsibilities related to conducting scientific research:
The selected candidate will conduct research work necessary for the development of the unit and to develop their own scientific field; disseminate the results of scientific research, particularly by publishing scientific articles in high-scoring journals and presenting at national and international conferences. The candidate should prepare grant applications and apply for budget and extra-budgetary funds for scientific research.
Responsibilities related to teaching activities:
The selected candidate will conduct teaching classes related to the position of university professor amounting to 180 hours per year in the fields of study: economics, finance, accounting, and others, as needed. Engagement in improving class levels and linking teaching activities to the latest research is expected.
Organizational responsibilities:
Participation in work related to developing the scientific and didactic level of the Department of Economics and Finance.

Requirements
Research Field: Economics » Financial science
Education Level: PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications: Publication achievements in economics and finance, teaching experience, and a good level of English language proficiency.
