Job summary

The School of Business develops individuals to achieve leadership, management, global citizenship, and employability potential through business-relevant, research-informed education. The school offers degree, diploma, and certificate programs. Its Bachelor of Business Administration program is internationally recognized as one of the best business programs and accredited by EFMD.

The School of Business invites applicants for a one-year Limited-Term Faculty appointment. The successful applicant will be expected to teach a total of seven (7) sections, including including BUS 353 (Business Process Management), BUS 457 (Project Management), and BUS 100 (Introduction to Business).

There is an expectation that the successful candidate will engage in university and community service, and the promotion of programs offered by the school. The service requirement for this position is to assist in preparing UFV’s application for NCMA National Accreditation.

Duties of Limited Term faculty fall within Article 18.2 (Teaching Faculty Duties) of the Collective Agreement, specifically the Teaching and Service components.


The successful candidate must have a PhD or DBA in a relevant field from a recognized institution, preferably from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited institution, or solid indication of imminent completion. Applicants with a relevant Master’s degree and at least five years of employment in a leading position related to the position will be considered. Relevant post-doctoral or industrial experience is highly desirable. Applicants with demonstrated, effective teaching experience in both face to face and online instruction in courses relevant to the posting will be given priority.
