At the University of Göttingen -Public Law Foundation-, Professur Entwicklungsökonomik mit Schwerpunkt Südasien (Prof. Vollmer), there is a full-time position (39,8 h/week) as
Postdoctoral Research Fellow (all genders welcome)
to be filled. Starting date is 1 April 2025. The position is limited to 3 years. The salary is in accordance with the German public service salary scale (TV-L E13).
The research group works on Development Economics and Global Health. You are expected to contribute to teaching and research of the Chair and to develop your own research agenda. Within a research-based, interdisciplinary and international environment, you have wide opportunities to develop your skills. The position is meant to qualify young academics.
Your profile
- MA and PhD in Development Economics, Development Studies, Global Health or another related discipline
- excellent research, documented by either publications or a very good Job Market Paper
- high motivation for research and teaching in an interdisciplinary environment
- Good English skills are expected
