The Doctor of Education in Character Education is an online program that focuses on sound character education theory and up-to-date research in the area of character education; and builds upon and extends the recognized work of the National Character Education Clearinghouse established at Regent University by the U.S. Department of Education. Explore the best character education materials currently available in the field. Interact with faculty who are leading innovative and effective programs on a local, state and national level. Provide intellectual and Christ-centered leadership by developing and communicating original research to significantly impact the field of education. Students possessing an Ed.S. or equivalent may be admitted to the Ed.D. program with advanced standing after a review of their post-master’s transcript(s). Offered in a cohort model. Students may begin the program in the spring, summer and fall semesters. Courses are delivered online with some required face-to-face components. School division cohorts are also offered in varying formats.
