Master in Economics and Finance (MEF) is a two-year program taught in English.
MEF aims to give students a thorough understanding of theoretical and applied economics & finance and puts an emphasis on developing strong analytical skills to solve complex economic problems in various areas. The curriculum is recognized by the CFA Institute’s University Affiliation Program as compatible with the CFA Candidate Body of Knowledge. Courses are taught both by members of the Institute of Economic Studies (IES) and external professionals. The graduates typically assume challenging positions in in banking, consulting, investment funds and international organizations worldwide. IES is a proud part of Charles University in Prague, which regularly ranks in the best 150 universities in economics in the world.
