Student’s fees for university master’s degrees are decreed on an annual basis by the Catalan government and University of Barcelona. Please find below the public fees that correspond to the academic year 2019-2020:

  • 2,790 euros (60 ECTS | 46.50 euros/ECTS) for students who currently reside in Spain or are EU, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, China or Andorra nationals.
  • 4,920 euros (60 ECTS | 82.00 euros/ECTS) for students who do not currently reside in Spain and are not EU, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, China or Andorra nationals.

Introductory Courses

Students who do not hold a degree in Economics might be requested to matriculate and attend introductory courses of Introduction to Economics (2.5 ECTS) and Introduction to Quantitative Methods and Statistics (2.5 ECTS), whose credits have to be separately paid (the same prices apply).

Equivalence Fee Payment

All international students will be required to pay the ‘equivalence’ fee (218.15 euros). We will send you the fee invoice and the instructions to pay it as soon as we receive all your documents.

The Master in Labour Economics (MiLE) provides advanced theoretical and empirical skills to undertake applied research in labour economics.

The Master in Labour Economics (MiLE), offered by the University of Barcelona, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Girona, is a high quality program intended to train and educate economists to undertake top research in labour economics in one of the best places to study worldwide. It is the perfect program for new graduated students to develop their research skills through a broad selection of courses taught by top researchers from the three participating universities. It is a one course full-time master (60 ECTS), totally taught in English. On successfully completing this course, students can expect to find employment in a broad range of sectors, including higher education and economic consultancy.
