The scholarship covers the full fee of any online course including all blocks.
CEBEX Summer School on Behavioral Sciences, thanks to the generous support from IAREP, grants two scholarships for online courses to the students from low-income and lower-middle income countries.
The program is focused on theoretical introduction and designing and evaluating experiments in Behavioral Public Policy, Behavioral and Experimental Economics, or Evolutionary Behavioral Economics. The course lasts 9 days (with one free day included) and is divided into three blocks:
Block A (July 30–31) gives you a basic theoretical overview of a selected field (Behavioral Public Policy, Behavioral and Experimental Economics, or Evolutionary Behavioral Economics) and allows you to develop a research topic that you will use later in the course.
Block B (August 1–5) walks you through the basic methodology of experimental research, teaches you how to use an online tool to develop and run your experiment, and shows you the basic overview of statistical methods you can use to evaluate and present the collected data.
Block C (August 6–7) teaches you the basics of programming in R, free statistical software used by many researchers. The block ends with a workshop in which you can work on collected data under the supervision of your lecturer.
