2nd Structured Retail Products and Derivatives Conference

The Chair of Banking and Finance at the University of Hagen, in cooperation with the Open University of the Netherlands, will be hosting the

2nd Structured Retail Products and Derivatives Conference on May 24 and 25, 2024.

The keynote speaker will be Neil Pearson, Harry A. Brandt Distinguished Professor of Financial Markets and Options, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

The overarching theme is options and derivatives in general, with a particular focus on structured retail products. We cordially invite the academic community to submit their research papers.

For the special track on structured products, we also encourage the submission of work in progress, with an extended abstract of approximately 300–800 words.

Topics for this track may include, but are not limited to:

• Behavioral aspects,
• Hedging strategies,
• Market microstructure,
• Marketing and distribution,
• Pricing policies,
• Product innovations,
• Product valuation,
• Regulatory issues.

For the general track, all papers on options and derivatives are welcome.

The submission deadline is January, 31st, 2024.

Author notification will be given in Mid-February 2024.

There will be a special issue of the Journal of Futures Markets dedicated to the conference. Selected authors will be invited to submit their papers after the conference.
