The Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Program (EIET) examines emerging technologies, policies, economics, finance, and management that will transform how we obtain, distribute, store, and use energy. Through a variety of online energy courses, you may focus your studies based on your interests.

Some parts of the modules are technical in nature, so a scientific or engineering background is helpful but not required.
Earning the Certificate
Starting April 12, 2022, if you are new to the Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies (EIET) program, to earn the EIET Certificate, you must complete any five (5) courses within the program. If you started the EIET program prior to April 12, 2022, then to earn the Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Certificate, you must complete any four (4) courses within the program. All learners will earn a Stanford Certificate of Completion in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies.
