The Department of Economics, Management, and Quantitative Methods (DEMM) is seeking candidates for one Tenure Track Assistant Professor (RTDB) in Statistics (SECS-S/01).
Starting Gross Salary 44207,76 € (13 months). Important tax reductions may apply for 5 or more years according to the Italian rules for candidates who reside abroad.
Duration: 3 years and tenure (as an associate professor) in possession of the Italian habilitation.
REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D. Degree in Statistics or Econometrics or Economics or equivalent, from an Italian or foreign university.
The candidates should have at least three years as a post doc or lecturer position or being in possession of the Italian habilitation in Statistics.
Knowledge of language: English (knoweldge of italian is NOT required).
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Candidates are expected to conduct independent research at the highest international standards in any field of Statistics, and to teach at undergraduate and master courses. The candidates should actively collaborate to the activities of CEEDS, the Center of Excellence in Economics and Data Science (https://ceeds.unimi.it) at DEMM. They are also expected to actively participate in departmental life and seminars.
