As an intern Data Scientist Warranty, your primary objective is to bolster the Ownership Experience Business Intelligence and Data Integration tools. Your key focus during the internship involves elevating the department's data visibility and forecasting capabilities, thereby furnishing actionable insights to enhance business outcomes. For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period. Furthermore, you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany.
Your mission:
- Extract and integrate data from ERP, SQL databases, and SAP. Assist in preparing Dealer Warranty Score Cards.
- Develop reports for technical support and warranty departments.
- Define, implement, and maintain KPIs.
- Maintain KPIs database and reporting processes.
- Utilize Tableau and Python libraries for data processing and visualization.
- Understand Kia EU Warranty Data Structure.
- Support ongoing data interfacing projects. Prepare pre-decision materials based on Warranty Data Analysis.
- Collaborate on improving warranty reporting portal for market KPIs Your talents Bachelor / Master student in Computer science, mathematics, engineering business, science, or relevant field of study.
- Knowledge in scripting Phyton and working with SQL and data analysis (ERP/SAP/SQL/Python/R) Knowledge in data analysis packages or databases, e.g., SQL, SAS, R, SPSS, Python, VBA and visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Interest for the automotive industry Strong analytical skills including statistical know-how
- Ability to work well with others and build relationships across teams
- Good verbal and written English communication skills (other European language knowledge are an advantage, particularly German)
- Resilient team player, positive thinking, flexibility and ability to adapt in a multicultural and fast moving environment.
