The Chair of Economics, especially Public Finance is offering a position:
Junior Research Assistant in Public Economics
(pay grade E 13 according to TV-L, 75% share of the position)
initially limited for three years, with the prospect of further employment for two years.
You will be working as a part of a committed team conducting research projects that are international and empirical by design, addressing topics in finance, taxation, and economic policy (see https://www.finanzwissenschaft.rw.fau.de).
The chair's teaching curriculum encompasses courses at Bachelor's and Master's level in both German and English. As the ideal candidate you have completed a Master's degree in Economics with distinction, preferably with a focus on empirical research methods or public finance. Furthermore, you are driven to pursue research and are highly motivated to work in empirical economics. Applicants in the final stages of their Master's program are also welcome to apply.
We strongly support your work towards a PhD degree and encourage your participation in the structured coursework offered by the Institute of Economic Research. You also have the opportunity to work on third-party funded projects. Pay grades are sei according to TV-L E 13 (German public service remuneration). The positions are initially sei for a duration of three years, with the option to extend for two additional years.
