The « Governance and Regulation » Chair of the University Paris-Dauphine|PSL has one opening for a postdoctoral fellowship in economics or management.
Candidates must have a solid background in economics (especially in one or several of the following fields: institutional and organizational economics, industrial organization, political economy, public economics, law and economics, finance) or in management (strategy or organization).
She/He should have a solid expertise either in quantitative methods/data sciences or in comparative institutional analysis.

The Governance and Regulation Chair is a research program involving the University Paris-Dauphine | PSL— a leading University in Economics and Management in France —, businesses, and regulatory agencies. Its working program covers the political economy and institutional organization of regulation, the strategies of the various stakeholders involved in the regulatory game, the assessment of alternative modes of regulations. The Chair offers an outstanding environment for scholarly publication and high-level communication of research to policy and business audiences.

About the position
The post-doctoral candidate will be working within the Research team made of researchers in economics, management, law, and political science. She/He will be expected to contribute to the above described research program. This will involve the exploitation of existing databases, and the contribution to the development of innovative ones. Also, the Post-Doc will cooperate in the realization of transnational comparisons or historic evolutions of institutional and regulatory frameworks. The postdoctoral fellow will also be involved in the organization of seminars and working groups.
She/He will also be involved in the development of an executive training program in the economics of regulation.
Contract
In line with French standards, the Post-Doctoral Researcher will be paid 28k€ net/year (subject to adjustments based on experience and family context), which includes social coverage.
The successful candidate will be offered a 12 months fixed-term contract. This contract might be extended after the first period (up to a total of 3 years maximum).
Starting Month: October 2021.
PROFILE
- PhD in Economics or Management, with a significant focus on quantitative methods.
- Linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment: fluency in English and in French will be considered as an advantage.
