The Chair of Economic Theory 1 (Prof. Dr. Sebastian Ebert) at the Department of Economics invites applications for the position of a postdoctoral researcher.
The position is available for a period of three years (extension up to three additional years possible) and starts based on mutual agreement.
The recruited candidate will become a member of the newly funded DFG research group Consumer Preferences, Consumer Mistakes, and Firms’ Response, which comes with additional opportunities.
The position is research-focused and comes with no or a very light teaching load. Research activities (such as presenting at international conferences or conducting experiments) will be actively supported by the chair and generous funding is available.
The successful candidate should show great potential to conduct top quality research or already have some publications in very good economics or finance journals. Applications from theoretical and empirical/experimental researchers are equally welcome. German language skills are not required. Applicants must have (or must be expected to obtain soon) a doctoral degree in economics or related fields.
