MEFIB 2023 aims to be an academic meeting for Ph.D. students and young researchers, providing a platform to present their research work and receive feedback and network with more experienced scholars. We invite you to submit your unpublished papers in any field of economics, finance, or business (either theoretical or empirical)
MEFIB 2023 aims to be an academic meeting for Ph.D. students and young researchers, providing a platform to present their research work and receive feedback and network with more experienced scholars. The Meeting will take place in person on the 20th and 21st of April at Universitat Jaume I. We invite you to submit your unpublished papers in any field of economics, finance, or business (either theoretical or empirical). The topics included (but not restricted) are the following:
Accountancy, agent-based models, agricultural economics, behavioral economics, business and managerial economics, clusters, econometric methods and applications in business and economics, economic geography, energy economics, environmental economics, finance, game theory and applications, health economics, industrial organization, international trade/migration and capital flows, management and organizational design, marketing, microfoundations of macroeconomics, organizational change and its implications on HRM, people analytics, public economics/political economy, public policy evaluation, responsible and sustainable HRM, strategic HRM, talent management and leadership, tourism, and other topics in macroeconomics and/or microeconomics.
During the meeting, each presentation will last 20 minutes and will be followed by a 5-10 minutes discussion held by a senior faculty member and 5 minutes of general discussion.
The deadline has been extended and the papers should be sent in PDF format through email to mefib@uji.es before 15 January 2023. The notification of Acceptance/Rejection will be announced by February 2023. Then, a registration form and payment instructions will be sent to the authors of accepted papers. The Meeting fee is 150 euros and covers the expenses of coffee breaks, lunches, dinners, and hotel room for up to two nights. Attendants should cover their own travel expenses to reach the University.
This meeting is an INFER-supported event (https://infer-research.eu/), which could lead to possible publications on related special issues at different journals.
