Students took the spotlight at the 2025 Young Economist of the Year (YEOTY) National Awards, held at the Knocknarea Arena, Atlantic Technological University (ATU) in Sligo.

Publishing journal articles in economics can be slow and challenging, and effective peer review plays a critical role in shaping the efficiency and fairness of the process. Despite its importance, many researchers receive little guidance on how to be a constructive peer reviewer. In this article, I provide advice on how to approach peer review thoughtfully and professionally, with the goal of improving the experience for both authors and reviewers. 

Antonin Bergeaud has been awarded the 2025 Best Young Economist Prize for his research focusing on major economic, technological, and ecological disruptions. 

The 2025 winners of the Global Economy Prize have been announced by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, in collaboration with the City of Kiel and the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
