The RWI informs the public and supports an evidence-based policy by analyzing policy measures. In particular, the Institute's management is active in high-ranking institutions of policy advice, including the "Expert Council for the Assessment of Macroeconomic Development" , the "Expert Council of German Foundations for Integration and Migration" and the Presidium of "acatech - German Academy of Engineering Sciences" . The RWI is a member of the Leibniz Association . It is funded by the federal government and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. »
