Studying at HTW Berlin
Among the higher education institutions Berlin has to offer, one university stands above the rest in its embodiment of the cityβs many faces: HTW Berlin. Also known as the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, the university offers courses from mechanical engineering to communication to fashion design. Meet Vladimir: an Associate Professor of Economics at Ewha Womans University in Seoul
Vladimir Hlasny is an associate professor of Economics at Ewha Womans University in Seoul. We chose him as the winner of our Conference Grant Contest 2016 and awarded him with a β¬500 grant. The prize helped him to attend the Joint NIDI-RUG Workshop on Socioeconomics Differences and Health Later in Life organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen.
